ArchPay.SPACE: An Online Design Management Platform

Hong Kong-based ArchPay.SPACE is an online design management platform administered by a client interface system. The startup has been established by several boutique design studios internationally. In this interview, Simon Chan, founder of ArchPay.SPACE talks about their journey and exhibiting at the RISE Conference in their home turf this July.

Tell us about ArchPay.SPACE.

ArchPay.SPACE is an online design management platform for talented teams and individual designers. Through this platform, they can deliver greater architectural design value to both, the project owner and the society. The platform supports both parties as it ensures smooth operation of the design development process up until the completion of every project.

Online design management is a unique space. What inspired you to work on it?

A few years ago, I was pondering over how originality and creativity are losing their essence. At the time, my vision was to create a platform for designers to develop creative design proposals from real life experiences and from any part of the world. With ArchPay.SPACE, my vision has been transformed into reality.

How has the journey been so far?

It has been a tough ride! Convincing fellow industry professionals, some of whom are industry leaders, that a major change is underway has been very challenging. Additionally, other similar platforms have proven to be successful business models with remarkable performance records. We’ve had our fair share of challenges!

Are you excited about exhibiting at the RISE Conference?

We are eagerly looking forward to the conference! We want to enlighten everybody about the changing trend in online design management. Our major focus for RISE is to introduce the ArchPay.SPACE platform to the designer community and the IT fraternity.
